Angelo Siragusa is an original Phoenix Roadrunners fan and Booster Club member. An Illinois native, Angelo moved to Phoenix in 1955. Now 83, the retired printer’s interest in hockey began during his lunch breaks, when he saw the Roadrunners practice at the Tower Plaza rink across the street from his print shop.A third-year professional, Cory LeClair joins the Roadrunners after a 2006-2007 season with the Dayton Bombers. The 24 year old defenseman played in 23 regular season games and four post-season games in 2005-06 with the ECHL Reading Royals. As a student player at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, LeClair posted 11 goals, 25 assists, and 36 points in 54 colligate career games from 2004-06.
6’6” Left Wing Jeff Smith joins the Roadrunners for his sixth professional season.
The Regina, SASK native was a member of the 2005 ECHL Kelly Cup Champion Trenton Titans, and has 58 games AHL games under his belt. Smith has recorded 23 goals, 37 assists, 60 points, and 741 penalty minutes in 258 career games.
Roadrunners’ captain Reagan Rome is in his sixth professional year.
