  Player Profile: Sean O’Connor

The 26 year old Victoria, BC native is in his sixth professional season.

O'Connor's’ Junior seasons were spent with the Moose Jaw (SASK) Warriors, where he played with future NHL center Jamie Lundmark and Roadrunners Scott Kelman and Ben Knopp (2005-06).

Selected in the 3rd round of the 2000 NHL draft by Florida, the Right Wing has played professionally in San Antonio and Cincinnati of the AHL, as well as Jackson, Augusta, San Diego, and Las Vegas of the ECHL.

  Aikins Scores Big at Awards Banquet

Roadrunners Right Wing Justin Aikins took home multiple awards Sunday, March 18th at the Phoenix Roadrunners Booster Club’s Annual Awards Banquet. As voted on by the Roadrunners players themselves, Aikins received the “Most Valuable Forward” and “Most Valuable Player” awards.

  2007 Holiday Bowling Party

This year’s Annual Holiday Bowling Party took place Sunday, January 7th. With over 100 participants, this event was a tremendous success. All of the Roadrunners players, as well as several invited guests from the Puck Patrol and front office, had a fantastic time with some great food, cool prizes, and an afternoon of bowling and fun.

  RoadRunners’ boosters go unsung

For the amateur hockey fan, the Phoenix RoadRunners’ fan booster club is just another group looking for patrons to sign up for intermission contests as you walk through the corridors of U.S. Airways Center.
    However, the loyal contingent does much more behind the scenes for the ECHL franchise in ways the public will never see.
Founded in 1967, the group takes it upon itself to assist the RoadRunners with a simple and dedicated mission: to encourage, support and promote minor league hockey.
