Longtime hockey fan and former Booster Club Director Scott Stewart passed away on July 28th, 2007.

A savvy behind-the-scenes political worker, Scott served for several years as an aide to former Arizona Congressman Bob Stump. More recently, Scott worked for the Republican National Committee, leaving the Phoenix area in 2006 to work on California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s re-election campaign.

Scott is survived by his mother, brother, a niece, and two nephews.

A memorial service was held on August 2, 2007.

Scott’s family has requested donations in lieu of flowers be made to Sovereign Grace Church or Kids Chance of Arizona Organization.
