In an official press release dated Thursday, March 22nd, the Phoenix Roadrunners of the ECHL announced that Ron Filion had resigned his position as Head Coach and Assistant General Manager.

In another, less widely publicized development, The Shoot-Out has also learned that Roadrunners Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Ray Delia also resigned on March 22nd.

Former Assistant Coach and 10 year minor pro veteran player Assistant Coach Brad Church will assume the duties of Roadrunners’ head coach for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs, while existing Phoenix Suns staff will assume management duties.

Filion and Delia leave the Roadrunners organization with a team record of 45-81-
