The annual Phoenix Roadrunners Booster Club’s “Meet the Players Picnic” took place Sunday, November 4th at O’Neil Park in Glendale.

In a departure from tradition, Boosters did not compete against players this year. Instead, team captains Richard Hopkins and Roger Pongratz were appointed and teams chosen “Phys Ed Class” style.

Team Rich - Richard Hopkins, Brad, Luke, and Dean Church, Dan Weiss, Mitch Carefoot, Cody Rudkowsky, Scott Kelman, Chris Stevens, Chris Murray and the Orr’s guests Kira and Allyssa.

Team Rog - Roger Pongratz, Brian O'Leary, Nathan Lawson, Ian Turner, Reagan Rome, Jeff Kryzakos , Jeff Moor, Ron, Dawn, Trevor, and Travis Orr, Tom Husband,

Despite the seemingly even match-up, Team Rich took the win 17 - 9 (or 10, depending on who you ask!).
