Booster Club Director and longtime member David "Dusty" Rhoades passed away at age 67 on September 12, 2009 after a short illness. A Vietnam veteran, David was retired and had a long history of volunteerism and community service. Beloved for his sense of humor, David leaves behind his wife Linda, sons Jeff and Dayson, and grandsons Dakoda and Dayle, as well as  countless friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, Sept. 21, at 9:30 am the “B” Pavilion of The Veterans National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, located at 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Az. 85024.

PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Phoenix RoadRunners of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks and the Worcester Sharks, announced today that they have informed the ECHL Board of Governors that they will cease operations at the conclusion of the 2008-09 playing season.

As a fitting send off to the team's last roadtrip, the Phoenix Roadrunners Booster Club's Annual Awards Banquet was held on Sunday, March 29th.
